MOONLIT AWAKENING - Mixed Media
The animals are just beginning their night.
My daughter loves looking at the moon and I know lots of other little kids do too. This painting is one of the artworks I created for children’s book “Snuggled Away” written by Cate Storey. It is a dream scene from the beginning of the book.
All of the animals pictured had to be from the same habitat, so it was all researched meticulously. When it came to create the artwork though, that was all about the composition and creating a sense of play!
