The Bettong is such an innovative little creature, building nests by carrying twigs and branches in their tails. This painting is one of the artworks I created for children’s book “Snuggled Away” written by Cate Storey.

I really amped up the colours in the background to contrast with the bettong’s fur. It’s such a charming animal with it’s cute little face and forepaws.
