Owl and python are hunting for prey.

Two great predators - I know lots of children who love owls (including my own daughter) and of course snakes. I love the big glassy eyes of the powerful owl, as it envelops the moonlight. There was so much texture to play with on both animals as well.

This painting is one of the artworks I created for children’s book “Snuggled Away” written by Cate Storey. I couldn’t help painting a purple sky to compliment the brilliant orange of the tree branches.
