The animals glide, crawl, scamper and leap.

A night-time scene with all the animals in camaraderie as they begin their nightly jaunts. This painting is one of the artworks I created for children’s book “Snuggled Away” written by Cate Storey.

There was so much to pull together in this piece. I added little extra details that I thought kids might enjoy such as the flying fox in the top right. The houses in the lower corner give a sense that many of these animals are a part of our urban landscapes.
