In my art practice, I am inspired by music and dance. Moments of beauty and memories are created by the human body moving through space. The model I have depicted here is Teagan Lowe, the Australian prima ballerina for Opera Australia, The Australian Ballet and Sydney Dance Co. I asked Teagan to dance freely in her own style, which inspired me to create this piece.
The original artwork was created using mixed media including acrylic, pastels, pencil and conte and a high resolution scan was done for printing. This giclee art print looks absolutely rich and beautiful on German made Hahnemuhle 100% cotton, archival matte paper with a 30mm white border. It is unframed.
